As the title says, this video is about how to remove thorns from a yellow dragon fruit (pitaya). Yellow dragon fruit are the sweeter variety of dragon fruit but unlike the red variety it has thorns protecting the fruit.

This video goes through a standard tiller (one that I personally own) and gives a rundown of how it works.

After the chat, the video then shows the tiller working and how after the ground is tilled it is made into furrows and then prepared for growing vegetables with irrigation hose and weed matting. So, it's more than just how to use a tiller  - it's also how to make a simple backyard vegetable garden.

Heirloom vegetables isn't the most exciting topic and my wife would say this video doesn't help the cause but for those of us who love our heirloom backyard fruits and vegetables, heirloom is an exciting topic indeed.

Heirloom seeds are a growing industry (somewhat of a resurgence) due to the large farming practices using too much pesticides in production and growing only tasteless varieties chosen for resilience rather than taste.

There's nothing better than eating a heirloom fruit or vegetable!

This video explains how to make a trellis specifically for growing tomatoes but it really can be used for any other food crop requiring support to grow.

The demonstration shows how the posts are dug and set and the wire strung across and tensioned to make a solid support structure for growing tomatoes.

Those who know the herb lemongrass probably know about the huge range of products it can be used to make like citronella to keep the mosquitos away, cosmetics, creams, food flavouring etc.

However, not many people realise how easy lemongrass is to grow and how it can be used in the garden not only as a feature plant but also as a weed suppressant and mulch for other plants. This video explores the later.
