1. Shipping Policy
1. This Shipping Policy (Shipping Policy) applies to all purchases from Valencia Media Pty Ltd (Self Sufficient Me, Self Suffishing Me, Self Suffitness Me, or us) and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions (Terms). Any capitalised terms not defined in this Shipping Policy are defined in the Terms.
2. Agree to Terms
2. You agree to comply with all Terms when accessing or using our Services, including this Shipping Policy.
3. Delivery Address
3.1 All orders will be shipped pursuant to the delivery details provided by you at check out. Please ensure your delivery address is accurate.
3.2 If you have provided incorrect delivery details, please contact us as soon as possible, within the first 10 minutes after and we will use best endeavours to update the delivery address. After this time, we will unfortunately be unable to amend the address. Please note that we will not be liable for non-delivery or delayed parcels due to incorrect details, and you may be charged a re-delivery fee if the Order needs to be re-delivered.
3.3 Your Order may be fulfilled from multiple locations at different times depending on stock availability. You will not be charged any more for delivery in this instance.
3.4 Delivery charges are calculated at check-out, and you are deemed to have accepted such charges by proceeding with your Order.
4. Delivery Timeframes
4.1 All shipping by Valencia Media is conducted via Australia Post. Please note from Australia Post 2021, Express Post has been indefinitely suspended. Express Post remains Australia Post’s fastest postal delivery option, but next-business-day delivery is not currently guaranteed by Australia Post.
4.2 We will endeavour to process your orders within 1-3 business days from the date that you place an Order, however please contact us or check your Order tracking email for estimated delivery time frames. Please note that during major sales events and holiday periods, we may take additional time to prepare and process your Order.
4.3 As a guide, please see the below details for shipping estimates.
4.4 Delivery timeframes are estimates and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any delay in arranging delivery or delayed delivery of an Order. For example, deliveries to some areas may be significantly delayed because of COVID-19 or some similar event.
4.5 While we will endeavour to deliver the Goods to you as quickly as possible, sometimes there may be delays that are outside of our control. You acknowledge and agree that delivery timeframes are estimates only and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any delay in arranging delivery or delayed delivery of an Order.
4.6 Order delivery times are currently extended due to our delivery partners experiencing delays. As a result, your Order may take longer to arrive. Please allow 10 business days before contacting us regarding your Order. We thank you for your patience.
5. Acceptance of Delivery
5.1 Signature on delivery
(a) In some circumstances, a signature is required on Delivery. You warrant and represent to us that any person at your nominated Delivery address that accepts Delivery of the Goods is authorised by you to accept such delivery. If you or a person at your nominated Delivery address refuses to sign a relevant delivery document, this will be taken as a refusal to accept Delivery.
(b) If you are unable to take Delivery of the Goods as arranged, if no one is available at the nominated delivery address or if the nominated Delivery address cannot reasonably be accessed, the Delivery provider may leave a collection card with instructions for you to collect the Goods.
(c) In these circumstances, we will be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for redelivery and/or storage. You agree that you will still accept re-delivery of the Goods even if they are delivered on a different date or time.
(d) If the Goods are undeliverable for any reason, it will be returned to the depot and a card will be left for you to contact the courier and arrange a second delivery or pick up. If the Goods are not collected by you or a second delivery attempt is not successful, then the Goods will be returned to Valencia Media and we may charge another shipping fee to redeliver the Goods.
5.2 Contactless delivery or authority to leave
(a) For Australian deliveries, Australia Post will not obtain or require your signature on delivery of your parcel, and it may leave parcels at your delivery address, either in the delivery location requested by you or some other safe location selected at Australia Post’s sole discretion, without obtaining a signature from any person; and, if your parcel is delivered in the manner described in paragraph above, the parcel will be deemed to have been delivered at the time the parcel is scanned as delivered and left at the delivery address.
(b) If we or the Delivery provider, in their absolute discretion, deems the area unsafe, Valencia Media may refuse delivery and charge you reasonable fees for storage and re-delivery or cancel your Order and retain any delivery fees paid.
(c) To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you or to any other person for any loss or damage that may be suffered, as a result of any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, by or on behalf of Australia Post in relation to the loss or damage to any parcel, including, but not limited to:
(i) where it is left at the delivery address;
(ii) where it is left at a delivery address in a manner that is inconsistent with the delivery instructions specified; or
(iii) where it is not left at the delivery address, and requires collection from a post office or depot;
except to the extent that such loss or damage as a direct result of our fraud or wilful misconduct.
(d) Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, you acknowledge and agree that Valencia Media will not be liable or responsible if the Goods are lost, stolen or if they are damaged due to weather or other external force, including where a Good is sensitive to temperature or sunlight, or contains perishable items, once a Good is Delivered or marked as ‘delivered’.
6. Delivery, risk and title
6.1 Delivery of the Goods is taken to occur at the time that the Goods are left at, or delivered to, your nominated address, by Valencia Media or Australia Post, even if you are not present at the address.
6.2 Risk and title of the Goods passes to you upon Delivery.
7. Lost or missing orders
7.1 If you have not received your order within 14 days after placing your Order, please contact us at sales@valenciamedia.me
7.2 For lost or missing packages, we may provide you with information of the Delivery provider and a tracking number associated with your Goods so that you may contact them directly to track your package.
7.3 We do not accept any responsibility for lost or missing packages.
8. Domestic Shipping within Australia
8.1 Express Post/Priority Post or Standard e Parcel Post
(a) All Australian orders are sent via Australia Post’s Express/Priority Post or Standard e Parcel Post, per the Domestic Shipping Rates as set out in clause 3.2 below.
(b) When your order is dispatched, you will be notified, and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout.

9. International Shipping Generally
9.1 Signatures are required on delivery for Goods shipped internationally.
9.2 All international shipping is via Australia Post to the postal service of the country of origin. Please Track the parcel with your origin parcel service once parcel arrives in your country. The same tracking number applies.

9.4 International Standard
This option is ideal if you want your order to be trackable and if your order is non urgent. Orders can be up to 20kg and delivery, depending on customs clearance. When your order is dispatched, you will be notified and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout. International Standard Postage requires a signature.
9.5 International Express
This option allows for trackable orders at a faster delivery time than International Standard delivery. Orders may weigh up to 20kg and a tracking number will be provided to you upon dispatch of your order. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address that you provide upon checkout.
International Express Postage requires a signature.
10. United States & Canada
10.1 Orders to the United States are sent by Standard or Express Delivery.
10.2 Shipping is based on the weight and dimensions of the goods in your order, as per the tables below.
10.3 International orders to the United States and Canada are generally delivered within 6 business days for capital cities and major metro areas. Regional areas require longer delivery times.
10.4 When your order is dispatched, you will be notified and a tracking number will be provided to you to track your delivery. The tracking number and notifications are sent to the email address provide by you upon checkout. Once the parcel arrives in the US or Canada please track with country of origin postal services.
10.5 Both International Standard Postage and International Express Postage require a signature upon delivery.

14. Rest of the World
14.1 We’ve been working hard and orders can now be sent internationally to most countries! Please choose the option that suits you best: International Standard or International Express. In some regions we can only use International Express due high fraud levels requiring the need for a signature.
14.2 The shipping costs for these delivery options are calculated at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order. There is an approximate calculator at the cart that you can use to indicate the costs before you proceed to checkout.
14.3 Please note that while we endeavour to ship to all countries in the future, we do not currently do so. You will be told at checkout if we do not ship to your address.

16. What happens if I used the wrong address for my order?
16.1 Please contact us at sales@valenciamedia.me immediately so that we can try to update your address prior to having your order dispatched. Please note sometimes we cannot update your address as the order may have already been processed at the warehouse.
16.2 For Australian orders – If your order has been dispatched please contact Australia Post and see if they can update your address. In the early stages this is sometimes possible https://auspost.com.au/receiving/manage-deliveries-in-transit
16.3 If your item has been sent/delivered to an incorrect address that was entered at the checkout it may be returned to us or held at a post office until it is returned to us. Once this return to sender is complete, we will contact you and provide you with a full refund minus postage costs, back to your original method of payment. Unfortunately, not all parcels with the wrong address placed on them return and we can’t be responsible for any costs incurred. Please make sure to use the right address at check out.
16.4 Transit times quoted here are estimated in business days and exclude local public holidays. Transit times quoted are subject to delays due to weather holiday rush times and custom delays. During busy times in the shop shipping may be delayed.
16.5 Please note that Valencia Media does not hold or accept any responsibility for packages that have been deemed lost, stolen, stuck in transit, or delivered. We may not issue refunds or store credit for packages that the courier confirms as lost in transit or delivered. Please contact your local postal service to locate your order.
17. International Taxes
Please note that we are not responsible for the payment of Customs or VAT Fees. This fee varies and is determined by each country. By processing an order, you agree and acknowledge you will pay any Customs and VAT fees that may occur.
Returns Policy

1. Introduction
This Returns Policy (Returns Policy) applies to all purchases from Valencia Media Pty Ltd (Self Sufficient Me, Self Suffishing Me, Self Suffitness Me or us) and is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions (Terms).
2. Change of Mind Returns
2.1 We want you to be happy with your online purchase. If you change your mind for any reason, we’ll gladly accept a return of any full priced item (except sale items), subject to the following conditions:
(a) you comply and have complied with all of our Terms including those additional conditions specified for specific products set out in this Returns Policy;
(b) the item(s) are returned in accordance with clause 6 within 30 days of purchase together with original proof of purchase (we suggest all items are tried on as soon as possible to ensure you are able to return items within the 30-day timeframe);
(c) the item(s) are returned in their original condition, unworn, unaltered and unwashed with their original protective bag or case with all original packaging or tags attached and where the products seal is not broken or tampered; and
(d) that you agree to comply with all steps to process the return as advised by us, including bearing the cost of shipping the Goods to us if applicable.
2.2 Sale, discounted, and special order items are Final Sale Items and are not eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit for a change of mind, unless faulty.

3. Faulty Goods
3.1 In the event that the Goods are faulty, damaged or broken, contact us at sales@valenciamedia.me within a reasonable time of your purchase with the following details:
(a) Order number;
(b) Photo of the faulty Goods and a description of the fault(s); and
(c) Proof of purchase in the form of your confirmation email or original tax invoice must accompany your request.
3.2 We reserve the right to require you to post the faulty Good to us for assessment as a faulty good (at your cost initially, with this cost being reimbursed to you if the Good is deemed to be faulty by us upon assessment).
3.3 We can assist you with a replacement, repair, refund or store credit, provided that upon assessment by us:
(a) the Good is considered damaged, broken or faulty or in breach of Australian Consumer Law; or
(b) the Good varies significantly to the description and/or images on the Sites; or
(c) the Good delivered is not the item that was ordered; or
(d) the Good is otherwise in breach of Australian Consumer Law.
3.4 If you were informed that the items were faulty at the time of the purchase, you will not be eligible to a return for the disclosed fault.
3.5 We reserve the right not to accept a return where the fault occurs due to a customers misuse, neglect or reasonable wear and tear. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any defect or damage to the Goods which may be caused or partly caused by or arise as a result of:
(e) your failure to properly maintain or store the Goods;
(f) your use of the Goods for any purpose other than that for which they were designed; your failure to follow any instructions or guidelines provided by us, including any care instructions; or
(g) fair wear and tear, any accident, or act of God.
4. Swimwear
4.1 Please try on items wearing undergarments. If you wish to return an item, the tags and protective hygiene strip must remain in place and the item will not be accepted if either of these have been removed or altered, or if the item shows signs of wear.
5. How do I return an item?
5.1 Please email us at sales@valenciamedia.me and we can direct you with an address.
5.2 On the receipt of the returned items, we will do a quick review and once cleared, you will receive a refund for the purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase.
5.3 We do our best to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow up to 5 to 10 business days for returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund once finalised.
5.4 Sorry, we do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items. Valencia Media is not liable for the loss of garments being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.
6. Do I have to pay for shipping the return?
6.1 Subject to our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law or similar legislation, for any return you will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return any unwanted items.
6.2 If the package does not reach us safely, we will not be able to complete the refund. You acknowledge and agree that we will not be liable for missing deliveries of returned Goods.
6.3 We encourage you to return your Goods via registered or traceable postal services as return parcels remain your responsibility until received by us and to retain proof of postage until you have received confirmation that your return has been processed.
7. What if my item is faulty?
7.1 We’re sorry if an item you have received is not in perfect condition. Please follow the returns process in clause 3 .
7.2 We will meet our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law or similar legislation which may include replacing the item if the stock is available or giving you a refund upon receiving your faulty item back.
7.3 Our Customers are very important to us and we want them to be happy with their purchases from us.
8. What If I Receive an Incorrect Item?
8.1 If you have received an item you did not order or are missing an item you ordered, please email us at sales@valenciamedia.me so we can get your order sorted as soon as possible.
9. Can I exchange an Item?
Due to the limited and quickly changing numbers of stock we have online, we do not offer exchanges on any items. If you would like a different size or item, we recommend purchasing the new item and following the returns process for a refund.
10. Consumer Guarantees
10.1 This Returns Policy is not intended to replace or exclude any rights available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
10.2 If you believe an item purchased from us is faulty, you may have rights under Australian Consumer Law. Where there is a major failure with the item you may choose a refund, exchange or repair and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the item repaired or replaced if the item fails to be of acceptable quality and this failure does not amount to a major failure. Where an item is damaged through misuse, we cannot provide a refund, exchange or repair.
10.3 Certain legislation including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth), and similar consumer protection laws and regulations may confer you with rights, warranties, guarantees and remedies relating to the provision of goods or services to you by us which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. Our liability is governed solely by the ACL, this policy and any terms and conditions specified on our Website.
